NDGI Fees
OFFICIAL FEE SCHEDULE
Effective Date: December 1st 2011. This fee schedule supersedes all other fee schedules issued by this office. Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) must approve all fees for official services and OA's will assess only those fees appearing on their current approved fee schedule. FGIS user fees included.
Regular Hours:
Fargo, ND: Front office hours, 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays.
Sampling and Inspection at Fargo office: 5:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Taylor, ND: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays. (Mountain Time)DT/Pelican/Ellis Cup – Bag – Container – samplers and Inspectors called out, core hours will start at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday except holidays.
Core hours do not apply to Hand Sampled Railcars and Overtime hourly rate will only apply after 8 hours of travel time. Double time does not apply except on holidays.
Regular Hourly Rate:
Technician and or Sampler $16.00 per hour.
Inspector $20.70 per hour.
Additional Labor: Additional person request by elevator onsite. $18.00 per hour.
Rates assessed in ¼ hour increments.Overtime Hourly Rate: 1 ½ time regular hourly rate applied to all hours outside regular hours and Saturday. Sunday and Holidays will be charged at double time.
Holidays include: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Standby Rates: Will be charged an applicable hourly rate for delays not caused by the Agency and will apply in one hour increments.
Minimum Hourly Call out Rates: Minimum 1 hour at applicable hourly rate will apply Monday through Sunday.
Mileage Fees: Mileage will be assessed at the rate of less than or equal to the IRS standard mileage rate and will be prorated when possible.
Travel Time: Will be charged at the applicable hourly rate and prorated when possible.
Finance Charge: 1½% per month after 30 days from Statement Date.

A picture of every Railcar ID and each seal is taken and stored at NDGI for 30 days.
NDGI is not responsible for the seals after the railcar leaves the applicants property. It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm all seals have been applied by NDGI to their satisfaction.Certification – applicants request seal numbers recorded on certificate, per certificate $1.00 **Part time Inspection and Sampling at Elevator Site
