The Missouri Department of Agriculture and North Dakota Grain Inspection Service, Inc. Announce Cooperative Agreement

The Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA) and North Dakota Grain Inspection Service, Inc. (NDGI) have entered into a cooperative agreement that will allow NDGI to provide official grain inspection services in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

The MDA has decided to close its St. Louis office and reallocate resources to other parts of the state. In what is often an unlikely situation, this agreement shows that a state agency and private agency can work together to provide grain inspection services in the same designated region.

This arrangement will ensure the continuation of quality and timely inspection services to the grain industry in St. Louis. NDGI will be servicing this area out of its Illinois Official Grain Inspection (IOGI) office in Cahokia, Illinois.
