NDGI Will Sample, Grade and Weigh at New Alton Terminal

The Alton Grain Terminal LLC, located 2 miles south of Hillsboro on US Highway 81, has selected North Dakota Grain Inspection Service, Inc. to perform Official sampling, Official grading and weighing on all incoming truck lots at the new facility. Sampling and inspections by an independent lab are advantageous for both the buyer and seller of agricultural commodities. NDGI is proud too have been selected as the Official Agency serving the needs of Alton Grain and its many customers.

Construction at the new terminal is nearing completion and Alton Grain is expected to announce a receiving schedule in the near future. Klint Erickson will be the Service Point Manager for North Dakota Grain Inspection Service, Inc. when the new satellite lab begins operations.

When Alton Grain opens for business you can turn to the North Dakota Grain Inspection Website for the latest truck receiving schedules. You will also be able to view NDGI at work on the live "Sampling Cam" located at the Alton facility.
